Bayfol®CR fulfils the high demands of the keypads, in the new generation of mobile phones from SAGEM Communication.

The key pads are manufactured in the FIM-process (Film Insert Moudling) process. The transparent film is printed in different colours and symbols. The film is formed in the next processing step and following backmoulded with a transparent resin on the printed side of the film. The transparency of resin and printed symbols allows backlighting of the key pad.

Bayfol®CR protects the inks and symbols against wear and chemical damages. The colour of the inks stays bright and it looks as good as new for a long time. The film has additionally good flexibility strength and it is scratch resistant when the fine matt version is chosen.

Bayfol®CR is easy to process. It is eminently suited to screen printing and offset printing with inks that are suitable for polycarbonate. Also during the forming an die cutting operation, Bayfol®CR makes the processors live easy.
