Makrofol^® FR is a particularly flame-retardant addition to our range of polycarbonate films. This transparent film has passed the strict US fire protection test standard UL 94 with the best classification – V-0. Further strengths include very good electrical, thermal and optical properties and high levels of translucency. Potential applications include large displays for events such as trade fairs, door plates, name badges, corporate signage, traffic signs, logos and labels. The new film’s good electrical insulation properties make it suitable for use in electrical and electronic components. It is available in thicknesses of 250 and 500 micrometers.
