Part design:A slim and sleek design with flowing 3D textures and a mirrored surface are the obvious attractions of the 7310 Supernova cell phone from Nokia. This exquisite blend of texture, color and form is in no small way due to our polycarbonate film Makrofol® DE 6-2. Virtually the entire outer “skin” of the phone is made from this material, namely the front and back covers and the camera button. An attractive feature of our material is its fine surface texture, which feels almost as smooth as silk. It is also excellently suited to silk-screen printing, a fact underlined by the phone’s vibrant colors. After printing and diecutting, the 175-μm thick film is accurately and gently molded by High Pressure Forming before being back-injected with polycarbonate using the Film Insert Molding process. The phone can be personalized to match the user’s mood or dress with easily exchangeable Xpress-on™ covers. They are currently available in steel blue, wasabi green and candy pink, and are also made of Makrofol®. Detailed Information: Product: |
