Examples include high pressure forming (HPF) and film insert molding (FIM) – two major film-processing technologies developed in-house that have become an indispensable part of film processing and established themselves the world over. We have also amassed a great deal of know-how on using coatings to give films additional functions such as antistatic properties, a soft-touch effect or improved scratch resistance (hard coat). We develop many “film innovations” in close cooperation with our customers. This is made possible by our competence centers, which have all the equipment required to reproduce the steps involved in film processing. This includes the complete manufacturing chain for film insert molding – from printing and punching to forming and back-injecting the films. Our customer support includes help with application issues, prototype development and the optimization of series production. We can also test components and materials, and our technical field service provides on-site support. |
